On December 5, 2025, at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the 700 block of 27 Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle traveling southbound on 27 Road struck a pedestrian. The Grand Junction Fire Department attempted life saving measures, however, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased once next of kin has been notified.
This crash remains under active investigation. Alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor. No further information is available at this time.
