First responders with the Grand Junction Police Department and Grand Junction Fire Department responded to the area of 28 ¾ Road and North Avenue for a two-vehicle crash on 10/10/24 at approximately 9:10 p.m. One driver was transported to a local hospital with serious bodily injuries and the other driver was evaluated on scene. The circumstances of this crash are under investigation, though speed is being looked at as a factor in this crash. The eastbound lanes of North Avenue between Harris Road and Melody Lane will remain closed for several hours as first responders remain on scene.
