Patrol Division

The Patrol Division is the largest and most visible division of the Grand Junction Police Department, acting as the front line in the fight against crime. The Patrol Division is responsible for all types of emergency and non-emergency calls for service. The division, comprised of uniformed patrol officers in marked vehicles, is responsible for answering to calls for service, addressing domestic and civil dis­putes, and apprehending criminal offenders. The Patrol Division is divided into three watches to provide 24-hour service to our community. The Grand Junction Police Department patrols roughly 39 square miles of city limits, comprised of approximately 65,000 residents.
