To kick off Fire Prevention Week 2021, join the Grand Junction Fire Department for an Open House at Station 6, 729 27 Road, on Saturday, October 2nd from 10:00 AM to Noon. Our doors will be open to visitors of all ages. Meet your first responders, tour the station, and see GJFD fire apparatus up close.
The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control will join us to hand out free smoke detectors (while supplies last) and at 10:30 AM will be conducting a live burn demonstration highlighting the theme of Fire Prevention Week 2020, “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety.”
