“The Grand Junction Fire Department is proud to contribute to the firefighting efforts in California,” said Interim Fire Chief Gus Hendricks. “This deployment not only allows us to assist communities in need but also provides invaluable experience and knowledge that our team can bring back to benefit the Grand Junction community.”
This deployment highlights the collaborative spirit of interagency firefighting efforts and reinforces the Department’s commitment to serving beyond local borders when called upon.
