Tips
- Regular collection schedule is Monday through Friday, with the exception of major holidays that fall during the week
- Containers must be placed at the point of pick up by 7 am on your trash collection day
- Containers must be placed three feet away from any object or other container
- Place containers with the serial number facing the street or alley
- Store your container on your property on non-service days to prevent unauthorized use
- All refuse, brush, yard waste, and trash items must be placed inside the container with the lid closed - if the lid can't close, spillage may occur
- Keep all materials to a maximum of 3 feet in length
- Ashes must be cold and stored in plastic bags - hot ashes can damage containers and equipment
- Do not overload your container or fill your container with dirt, concrete, bricks, or hazardous material. Please contact the Solid Waste Division for additional prohibited items.
- If you have bulky items or extra trash that does not fit into your can, please call the Solid Waste Division to schedule a special pick up. Additional fees may apply.
- Solid Waste operators will leave notices on containers to assist you when problems arise
