Wild West Skate Fest Mission Statement :
Wild West Skate Fest is all about elevating Colorado’s skateboarding culture while keeping it 100% real and community-driven. Presented by the Skateboarder Alliance, Junktown Skateboards, and the City of Grand Junction, this event is built by skaters, for skaters—showcasing progression, style, and creativity through a premier bowl and street contest with a $5,000 cash purse.
Hosted at the brand new Team Pain–built Emerson Skatepark in Grand Junction, Colorado, we’re focused on delivering an authentic experience that pushes the scene forward while keeping the stoke for skating a live!
We’re bringing together riders, artists, and out-of-town guests for a full-on festival vibe with live music, food trucks, and over 25 awesome vendors. The event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m on September 13th at Emerson Skatepark in Grand Junction,CO.
With 1,000–1,500 spectators expected, it’s going to be one of Colorado’s biggest and most anticipated skate and art events—highlighting raw talent, real connection, and our shared love for the culture skateboarding.
We’re reaching out to "Blank"Skateboards, one of our favorite companies, to ask for help sponsoring the kids’ prize bags with swag, skate decks, wheels, shirts or anything you can throw our way. It would mean a lot to help get these kids truly stoked and keep skateboarding alive and thriving on the Western Slope of Colorado.
