On January 30, 2025, at approximately 1:50 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the area of N 1st Street and Highway 6 and 50 for a vehicle versus bicycle crash. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a bicyclist had been struck by a vehicle while in the cross walk. The Grand Junction Fire Department transported the bicyclist to the hospital with injuries. This is an ongoing investigation and there is no further information available at this time.
