GRAND JUNCTION, CO - At 11:41 p.m., the Grand Junction Fire Department returned to the site of a previous structure fire on the 200 block of 24 Road after multiple 9-1-1 callers reported the home was once again burning. Callers noted the building was fully involved, with flames spreading to nearby trees and a fence.
Fire crews established a five-inch supply line along 24 Road and worked quickly to contain and extinguish the fire. A Grand Junction Fire Department investigator responded, and the origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
The Grand Junction Fire Department and the Mesa County Sheriff's Office provided traffic control and ensured scene safety.
