Grand Junction, CO - On October 31, 2025, at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a burglary in progress at the Four Points Apartments located at 1222 Elm Avenue, after a reporting party called dispatch to report a break-in.
During the investigation, officers learned that individuals had followed another group from the Lux Ultra Lounge to an apartment, gained unlawful entry, and refused to leave. The individuals eventually exited after punching a hole in the wall and then continued to kick the apartment door.
Officers contacted the two individuals and took them into custody without incident. They were booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility.
Kyle Elizardo, 24, was charged with:
- 1st Degree Criminal Trespass of Inhabited Dwelling
- Complicity
- 2nd Degree Burglary of a Dwelling
- Criminal Mischief
- Harassment
- Domestic Violence
Reece Frick, 19, was charged with:
- 2nd Degree Burglary of a Dwelling
- Criminal Mischief
- Harassment
- Domestic Violence
This is believed to be an isolated incident, with no ongoing danger to the public. This investigation remains ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
