On June 13, 2025, at approximately 5:55 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle near the intersection of North Avenue and N 15th Street.
Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle was traveling westbound on North Avenue when it collided with a vehicle turning north onto N 15th Street. The motorcyclist sustained bodily injuries and was transported to the hospital by the Grand Junction Fire Department.
Westbound lanes of North Avenue were temporarily closed while officers investigated the scene. Speed is being considered as a possible factor in the crash.
