City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

Ouray Ave. Water Project

• Ouray Ave. 7th to 15th Streets
• Be aware of temporary detours and follow directions from traffic control
• Expect delays

28 Road (Grand View Commons)

• 28 Road will be closed starting Nov. 10 through the end of the week between Grand Ave. and Belford Ave.
• Detours in place along 24th St. 
• Intersection of 28 Rd. and Grand Ave. will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers controlling traffic to I-70B 
• Stay aware of construction activities and follow traffic control 
• Expect delays 

Linden Ave. Water Project

• Linden Ave. will be closed between Unaweep Ave. and Hwy. 50. Open to local traffic
• Roubideau St. is closed between Unaweep Ave. and Santa Clara Ave. Open to local Traffic. 
• Santa Clara Ave. is closed between Roubideau St. and Palisade St. 
• Follow detour signs and traffic control direction

Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restriction  

I-70 Business Loop Improvements (CDOT) 

• First Street will be one lane
• Ute & Pitkin will be one lane

Xcel Energy 25 Road Natural Gas Replacements Project

• 25 Road will be closed north of Blichmann Ave. to south of F 1/2 Rd.  
• Access will be open to residents
• Follow signs, detours, and traffic control 
• Project information available from Xcel Energy

Cross Orchard Subdivision 

• Bookcliff Ave. will be closed between Sol Lane and East Valley Drive for a sewer tie-in.
