The week of August 18–24, 2025, the City of Grand Junction will host the 24th annual Western Colorado Senior Games. This highly anticipated event invites athletes ages 50 and older to participate in a week-long competition featuring a variety of games and activities held at parks and facilities throughout the city.
Early bird registration, which includes a T-shirt, ends Friday, July 25, at 5 p.m. Final registration is open through August 8 at 5 p.m.
Participants can look forward to events such as basketball, billiards, horseshoes, pickleball, a 5K walk or run, and more. The City of Grand Junction is also partnering with Fruita Parks and Recreation to bring back disc golf and with Grand Mesa Bowmen for archery.
A community tradition for more than two decades, the Western Colorado Senior Games are known for promoting friendly competition and camaraderie among older adults.
