The pool temperature at Orchard Mesa Recreational Facility is cooler than usual due to an outdated pilot light needing to be replaced. The water temperature remains consistent at 75 degrees however will still be open for normal activities. City staff are working to exchange a part from the Lincoln Park pool, which is a new price of equipment, until the expected part will arrive for replacement.
The Orchard Mesa Pool will be open today from 1:30- 5 p.m. for public swim and the facility will be closed tomorrow Wednesday, January 1 for the New Years Holiday. Orchard Mesa Pool will be back open on Thursday, January 2 with normal operating hours.
