City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions
24 Road and G Road – Traffic Roundabout Project
- Please be aware of moderate traffic impacts and new lane configurations on 24 Rd. for landscaping
- Be aware of the posted 15 mph speed limit around the 24 Rd. and G Rd. roundabout
- Access to Canyon View Park, Golden Gate Petroleum & Community Hospital will be maintained
2024 Sewer Replacement Project
- Glenwood closed between 17th and 18th
- When open, will be one lane with flaggers
- Resident access will be maintained
- Alternate route is advised
- Completion end of March 2024
Riverside Waterline Replacement Project
- Hale Ave, Park Ave, Fairview Ave and Ute Ave will be patched back in April
- Resident access will be maintained
- Anticipated completion is April 2024
Ute and Pitkin Waterline Replacement Project
- Ute Ave. lane closures and shifts continue between 1st St. And 4th St.
- 2nd St. Closed between Ute and Pitkin
F1/2 Parkway Phase One Construction
- 24 ½ Rd. closed between F 3/8 and Ajay Ave. Follow detour between F ¼ and F ¾
- Use caution when detouring and expect slower speeds
- Closure will be Mar. 6 to Mar. 22
City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restriction
1st St. Gas Line Construction – CDOT
- 1st St. between Rood Ave. and Pufferbelly
- 1st St. will have both lanes, but median is still under construction
Xcel Project at 25 Rd and Foresight Cir.
- Foresight Cir. at 25 Rd will be closed, detours will be put in place
- Access to businesses will be maintained
- Expect delays and longer than normal commute times
Highline Fiber Project
- 1st St. and Orchard North to Patterson-Possibly moving to 1st and Patterson heading West on South ROW
- 3rd St. And Orchard heading West to 1st St.
- 5th St. And Orchard heading East to 7th St.
- Independence Ave. and 25 ½ heading North to Patterson
City Tree Removals
- 422 Grand-Tuesday, Mar. 12
- 407 N. 7th-Wednesday, Mar. 13
- 2000 Orchard Ave.-Thursday, Mar. 14
- 2498 Patterson-Friday, Mar. 15
- All are right lane closures beginning at 9 a.m.
