Last night, December 15, City Council heard from Colorado Mesa University President John Marshall regarding the proposed football facility at Lincoln Park’s Stocker Stadium. Following the initial design presented to Council in September, CMU and the City have continued conversations informed by public input, community feedback, and ongoing evaluation by City leadership.
During the workshop, President Marshall shared an updated concept that includes preserving the Lincoln Park Barn. Project details and the recent round of draft designs are available at gjcity.org, as workshops are recorded and open for public viewing.
No decisions have been made, and the City will continue to keep the community informed as the conversation moves forward.
