Grand Junction, CO – On May 29, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were dispatched to a report of a possible sex crime in the northeast quadrant of Grand Junction, Colorado.
During the course of the investigation, officers determined that an individual had been sending sexually explicit material of a female when she was a juvenile, as well as harassing messages. The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Cole Hepp, and a warrant was written and granted for his arrest on charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Harassment.
On September 19, 2025, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department contacted Hepp and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility and booked on his warrant.
