National Night Out takes place on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, and is dedicated to building stronger connections between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve.
This nationwide event encourages residents, neighborhood groups, and community organizations to come together to foster relationships and promote safety through visits by local police officers. Whether you’re planning a cookout, block party, or ice cream social, you’re invited to register your gathering and join this community-focused evening.
If you’ve been thinking about participating for weeks or just heard about it, now’s the time to act. Once registered, the Grand Junction Police Department will coordinate officer visits to your event, making it a memorable night for everyone involved.
