City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

Horizon Dr. and G Rd. Roundabout 

• Construction ongoing at the intersection of Horizon Dr. and G Rd. through October.
• Be aware of temporary detour signage and follow directions from traffic control.
• For questions or concerns,  contact 970-822-0181.
• Expect delays.

Chip Seal 

• North Ave. To Grand Ave. And 1st Street to I-70B June 9 through July 18.
• Work will be ½ of a street at a time to allow cars to park on the other side.

Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restriction  

I-70 Business Loop Improvements (CDOT) 

• First Street will be one lane.
• Ute & Pitkin will be one lane.

23 & G Rd. Roundabout Repairs 

• Beginning July 9.
• Expect lane shifts & short delays
• Motorcycles: uneven lanes. Use extreme caution.

Chipeta Heights Subdivision 

• B ½ Rd. will be closed from Frontier St. To 30 Rd. 
• Detours will be in place.
