City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

F 1/2 Parkway Phase One Construction

  • 24 1/2 Rd. Concrete work. One-lane traffic will continue at roundabout

Main Street Holiday Light Install

  • 5th Street closed from Colorado Ave. to Main St. on Monday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

30 Road Pedestrian Improvements Project

  • Construction impacts on 30 Rd. South of D Rd. to Debra St. all week
  • Be aware and follow traffic control directions
  • Expect short delays

Deeply Digital Fiber Project

  • Alley entrance closed on 19th North of Elm Monday
  • Alley entrance closed on 23rd North of Mesa on Tuesday

2024 Sewer Repair Project

  • Rolling closures on Bahamas Way
  • Expect short detours.

I-70 Business Loop Improvements

  • 3rd St. Between Ute and Pitkin Avenues will be closed with access open to businesses
  • Business access will be open but adjusted to support construction and customer needs
  • Pitkin will be one lane for the foreseeable future

Ridges Blvd. Lift Station Repairs

  • Full closure of intersection at Ridges Blvd. & Hwy 340 Monday 12:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M.
  • Traffic will be detoured along Monument Rd. to Mariposa Rd. & Ridges Blvd.
    • Plan for increased travel times.
  • Rolling closure of Hwy. 340 Westbound right lane between Mayfield Dr. And Ridges Blvd. starting Oct. 19 (Saturday & Sunday included)
  • Access will be open for local traffic and private drives but expect delays
  • Rolling sidewalk closures will be detoured along Monument Rd. to Mariposa Dr. and Ridges Blvd. 
    • Plan for increased travel times.

Horizon Sewer Repair

  • Horizon closed Eastbound at 12th Street on Thursday, 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Detours will be in place
