[ARCHIVED] Projects Affecting Traffic for the Week of October 14, 2024

City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

F 1/2 Parkway Phase One Construction

  • 24 1/2 Rd. Concrete work. One-lane traffic will continue at roundabout

30 Road Pedestrian Improvements Project

  • Construction impacts on 30 Rd. South of D Rd. to Debra St. all week
  • Be aware and follow traffic control directions
  • Expect short delays

2024 Sewer Repair Project

  • Rolling closures on Bahamas Way
  • Expect short detours

Main Street Holiday Light Install

  • 200 block through 700 blocks will be closed one block at a time Monday
  • Possible late morning closure of 5th St. between Colorado and Main on Friday
  • Expect detours and short delays of all traffic (vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle)

Signal Work on Patterson

  • City crews will change the traffic signal cabinet on Wednesday
  • Signal at 25 1/2 Rd. will be black for a few hours after 9:00 a.m.
  • One-lane traffic in both directions at the intersection
  • Expect short delays

Ridges Blvd. Lift Station Repairs

  • Hwy. 340 Westbound right lane will be closed between Mayfield Dr. and Ridges Blvd. starting Oct 14
  • Expect impacts to private drives and local traffic
  • Access will remain open to local traffic
  • Expect delays
  • Rolling sidewalk closures will be detoured along Monument Rd. to Mariposa Dr. and Ridges Blvd.

Asphalt Replacement for Trails

  • City crews will continue to work on the replacement of asphalt with concrete from south of the Redlands Parkway bridge to the Redlands Roundabout

Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

I-70 Business Loop Improvements

  • 3rd St. Between Ute & Pitkin Avenues will be closed.
  • Business access will be open but adjusted to support construction and customer needs
  • Pitkin will be one lane for the foreseeable future
