Adamant Art is an art buisness that specializes in commissioned artwork and murals. I'm a 38 year old artist from SLC, UT. I have lived in my wife's home town of Fruita CO, for about the past 3 years and we're happy to call it home. I grew up in the skateboard and snowboard community which is what shapes my work ethic and what a lot of my artistic style is influenced by. At SLCC, I studied Graphic Design and Illustration for about 5 years as well. I am currently searching for ways to display my work and find my place in the art culture here in the grand valley. Looking forward to sharing my passion and exploring new opportunities.
I grew up in a medium-sized town in Northern California, and landed in a medium-sized town in Western Colorado. I came to pastels by way of a teacher who knew there was a spontaneity inside me that I didn’t see myself. Of course, the teacher was right. I have more interest in finding my own way of seeing things than to reproduce with minute precision what is there. I still find new ways to see things, and new ways to express the light, shadow and color of the world.
